PayResQ

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

PayResQ (“we”, “us”) helps merchants recover failed payments. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the GDPR.

The free analyzer never uploads your data

When you use the free failure-rate analyzer, your CSV is parsed and analyzed entirely in your browser. The file and its contents are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

What we collect for paid plans

For Recover and Failover plans you connect a payment gateway (Razorpay/Stripe) using scoped API credentials. We access transaction metadata (status, method, error code, amount, timestamp) needed to retry and report on failed charges, plus the contact details required to send dunning emails. We do not store full card numbers or UPI credentials.

How we use it

Solely to detect failures, schedule retries, route fallbacks, draft and send recovery emails, and show you recovered-revenue reports. We never sell your data.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@payresq.app. We delete account data within 30 days of cancellation. Daily encrypted backups are retained for up to 35 days.
